A device identifier stored in your browser, used to track your free-trial eligibility and paid credits.

To generate document explanations;
To process payments;
To maintain, secure, and improve the Service;
To communicate with you about your transactions, if you contact us.

3. Who We Share Information With

We share personal data only as needed to operate the Service, and we do not sell personal data to third parties:

AI processing providers (including Anthropic, for the Claude API) — to generate document explanations;
Render.com and Netlify — to run our backend and website infrastructure;
Razorpay — to process payments; we do not receive or store your full card or bank account details;
Regulators, courts, or law enforcement, where legally required.

4. Data Retention

We retain uploaded documents and their explanations for as long as needed to provide the Service and comply with legal obligations. You may request earlier deletion by contacting us using the details below.

5. Your Rights

Subject to applicable Indian law, you may have the right to access, correct, or request erasure of your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details in Section 8.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's Data

KaagazSamjho is intended for use by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
